Founder Allen Carroll built Fungi Farm after studying crop, soil, and environmental science at Auburn University and serving with the Alabama Mushroom Society. That background still shapes how we work: careful strain selection, clean production, and practical help for growers who need reliable material week after week. Allen also co-founded the Gulf Coast Fungi Fest with Tanner Hammond, bringing growers, foragers, and educators together around the region's mushroom community.

Our team
Fungi Farm is a small team with deep roots in agriculture, customer care, and the daily work of growing mushrooms.
Allen Carroll founded Fungi Farm and leads the direction of the farm, lab, and education programs. His Auburn training in crop, soil, and environmental science, years with the Alabama Mushroom Society, and hands-on cultivation experience guide product quality and grower support. He co-founded the Gulf Coast Fungi Fest with Tanner Hammond and continues to teach through workshops, forays, and farm consulting.
Taylor Carroll, Allen's wife, leads customer service and social media. She helps keep communication clear, coordinates events and outreach, and brings a steady, customer-first voice to how Fungi Farm shows up online and in person.
Mathew Fibus leads production and helps with sales. A University of Georgia graduate in biological sciences, Mathew oversees the logistics of making and moving product so orders leave the farm on time and to specification, and he helps growers choose the right products for their needs.
Michael Page takes care of our customers and helps with deliveries. He keeps orders moving from the farm to their destination, answers questions, and helps home growers and commercial customers get what they need when they need it.
