Specialty mushroom consulting is offered through MushroomTek: Design, Build, and Manage services for commercial growers, researchers, and educators who are starting or refining a specialty mushroom operation. The team draws on experience with more than 100 specialty mushroom farms and provides end-to-end facility design, system implementation, ongoing management, and professional training.

Allen Carroll of Fungi Farm, Chief Mycologist at MushroomTek, contributes commercial cultivation expertise to this practice. Consulting projects, enrollment, and support are administered by MushroomTek.

Core services include:

• Design: facility layouts and environmental control, agtech integration for ventilation, lighting, and humidity, plus risk assessment and sustainability planning
• Build: project coordination for retrofits or modular builds, system installation, partner access to ready-to-fruit blocks, and on-site launch guidance
• Manage: monitoring and troubleshooting, yield optimization including IPM, guidance on FSMA and food-safety compliance, and flexible long-term support
