What you get
Liquid culture plus sterilized grain to start grain spawn at home.
Our Grow-Your-Own Starter Bundle has what you need to make your own grain spawn: two 5 lb sterilized grain bags with injection ports, two 10 mL liquid culture syringes of the strain you choose, and alcohol prep pads.
Strains: Blue Oyster, Lion's Mane, Golden Oyster, or Pink Oyster. All four are beginner friendly.
How it works: wipe the injection port with a prep pad, inject the culture, and let the bags colonize at room temperature. Once colonized, use the grain spawn to inoculate your substrate.
