Wood-Lover All-In-One Grow Bag
A hardwood all-in-one grow bag, made in the USA at Fungi Farm in Alabama. Each bag is about 5 lb. Wood-loving mushrooms are particular about their food, and hardwood is what they prefer.
Packs: 1 bag $27.99 · 2 bags $52.99 · 4 bags $99.99. Choose your pack above.
What it is
This is our hardwood all-in-one, and it is not the coco coir all-in-one. The bag is a single grow package. You add a culture, the mycelium colonizes the hardwood fill, and the mushrooms fruit from that same bag. You do not mix a separate bulk substrate at home, and the bag does not arrive already colonized.
What you need
A clean syringe of liquid culture for a wood-loving species is the simple way to start the bag. You also need a clean workspace for inoculation, then a spot with fresh air and indirect light when it is time to fruit.
How to use
Inoculate the bag with your culture and leave it undisturbed while the mycelium colonizes the interior. When colonization is complete, open the bag to fresh air and indirect light so fruiting can begin. Harvest when the mushrooms are mature. Keep the inoculation step clean. A careless syringe is the usual reason a bag fails.
What's included
The pack you choose: one, two, or four hardwood all-in-one bags, about 5 lb each. Culture is not included.
Species it fits
A few examples are lion's mane, shiitake, chestnut, and king oyster. Lion's mane is the easier one. Shiitake, chestnut, and king oyster are more particular. Instructions come with the bag. If your species prefers coco coir, use the coco coir all-in-one instead.
